IONIA. Ephesos. Circa 180-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 28 mm, 12.53 g, 12 h), CY 48 = 87/6 BC. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; above, serpent staff; to left, MH / ΕΦE. Kleiner 46. SNG Copenhagen 326. Lightly toned. The obverse a bit weak and the reverse struck from a clashed die, otherwise, extremely fine.
